Weld Thermal History Simulator

Outline

Computation of heat flows require data on thermal properties such as the thermal conductivity and the specific heat of materials. The melting temperatures and Ac1 transformation temperatures of steels are also necessary for computing the location of molten pools and weld HAZs, respectively. In addition, computations require welding procedure parameters such as the arc current, arc voltage, welding speed, preheat temperature, and thickness of the plate to be welded. The simulator consist of Analytical Solution and Numerical Solution (FDM).
